One crisp December morning when I was in my 20’s I made my way into work only to find out that I, along with many of my co-workers were laid off. If that wasn’t shocking enough, they told us our last day would be Christmas Eve! After I had a chance to get my bearings, I thought to myself, “Well, everything happens for a reason and this will all work out for the best.” Guess what? I landed a job soon after even in those difficult economic times!
